Robyn's Salves and Tinctures is a small herbal business in Alaska. I make salves, tinctures, goat milk shampoo bars and lip balms by hand, and I ship them to customers across the US.

From the back of an ambulance to the workbench
I spent years working as an EMT. Emergency work is about staying calm, following procedure and telling people the truth, even when it’s not what they want to hear. I’ve left that job, but those habits never left me.
Working with plants has been part of my life for a long time. As an Alaska herbalist at heart, I learned how to dry, infuse and blend them the slow way, one batch at a time.
My years as a former EMT don’t make my products medicine, and I’ll never pretend they do. What they gave me is a respect for clean work, careful labeling and honest answers.
How the company began
How it started
It began with a few batches made for my own family. Friends asked for jars, then friends of friends. Before long, people across the country were asking too, so I opened this shop.

- Plain answers. Ask whether a product suits you, and I’ll tell you what’s in it, how it’s made and when to ask your doctor instead.
